Community
Beyond providing emergency medical response, Harvard Ambulance Service supports various community standbys, conducts clinics and provide's outreach to the greater community.
Standbys
Harvard Ambulance Service upon receiving a standby request, will attempt to secure a crew and possibly bring the ambulance to stand by at the event. Events for standbys are evaluated based on estimated attendance, nature of the activities and location of the event. While on standby, the ambulance will be in service to respond to any town related emergency.
OUtreach
The Harvard Ambulance Service is an active community outreach partner. This includes a wide range of activities including but not limited to:
- Frequent Council of aging liaison with training as requested.
- Distribution of File Of Life, Do Not Resuscitate, Health Care Power of Attorney, and MA Medical orders for Life Sustaining Treatment (MOLST) Forms
- Conducting Clinics
